A USSR BADGE MEDAL OF THE HONORARY RADIO OPERATOR
The badge of the Honorary Radio Operator of the USSR was established on May 2, 1945. It was awarded to persons who achieved significant achievements in the science and technology of radio broadcasting, the repair, and the operation of radio equipment, which contributed to the development of radio. The badge is made of silver in the form of a rhombus, covered with blue enamel along the edges, decorated with carved laurel branches on the sides, a five-pointed star at the top, and a radio station mast middle. There are red enamel ribbons with the inscription Honorary Radio Operator in the middle of the badge and the USSR inscription at the bottom. The badge has a threaded screw with a nut and an engraved inscription Mint on the reverse side.
