The Palaces of Leningrad by Viktor and Audrey Kennett published by Thames and Hudson, Reissue edition, 1984. Describes the restoration of twenty-one Russian palaces, briefly traces the history of Leningrad, and looks at the architecture and furnishings of each palace. Anatoly Lvovich Kaplan. A Sketch of the Creativity by B. Suris published by Artist of the RSFSR Publishers in 1972 in Russian. Anatoly Kaplan's creative work throughout his life was closely connected to Jewish folklore and literature in Yiddish, he made illustrations to a number of Jewish books including classics of Jewish literature and Jewish folk songs. Artists of the Group of Thirteen. From the History of Artistic Life in the 1920s-1930s by M.A. Nemirovskaya published a hardcover by Soviet Artist Publishers in 1986. In Russian. The Moscow association of the late 1920s and early 1930s included graphic artists N. Kuzmin, T. Mavrina, V. Milashevsky and others. The group united artists and graphic artists who stood up for free, lively drawing from life, performed at the pace of nature, correlated to the rhythms of life itself.
