AN ART NOUVEAU BRONZE FIGURINE BY PETER TERESZCZUK
Peter Tereszczuk (Austrian, Ukrainian, Russian, 1875-1963) Art Nouveau style patinated bronze and porcelain figurine depicting a couple of acrobats. Mounted on marble and gilded bronze base adorned with a foliage engraving. Marked with engraving, P. Tereszczuk, on the base. Peter Tereszczuk (1875-1963) was an important sculptor working in Vienna and known for his expressive and naturalistic Art Nouveau bronze sculptures.
