An antique Russian Orthodox hand-painted egg tempera on wood panel icon of Mother Of God - Tsaregradskaya. Titled in the Cyrillic to the center-right. According to legend, the Constantinople icon of the Mother of God, the memory of which is celebrated on May 8, is one of the icons painted by the holy apostle and evangelist Luke. Circa: the late 19th century.
