Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963) color lithograph on paper, Torero (Bullfighter), 1957, after the original work dated 1952. Signed in the plate lower right. Numbered in pencil 272 of 300 lower right. From the original portfolio Espace, printed by L’Imprimier Union a Paris. Framed. Georges Braque was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most important contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism.
