TWO ANTIQUE OKLADS RIZA FROM RUSSIAN ICONS
The lot includes two framed Russian icon Oklads/Riza from the late 19th century. One Oklad represents the halo of the Mother of God and the baby, covered with cloisonné enamel over 84 silver. Marked with Russian silver standard hallmarks. The second setting is a corner made of silvered copper and decorated with a cast pattern depicting two saints and a part of an angel hovering over them.
Dimensions: Smaller: 7 3/4 x 7 1/4 in. Larger: 9 x 7 1/2 in.
