A SOVIET POSTER "RABBIT BREEDING AND UPKEEP" 1931
A Soviet poster "Razvedeniye i soderzhanie krolikov" [Rabbit breeding and upkeep"]. Published by OGIZ-IZOGIZ, 1931. Circulation: 20,000 copies. Artist Maximilian Eberman. The poster contains practical recommendations for keeping and breeding rabbits with a description of individual breeds. By raising rabbits in the 1930s, the state tried to solve the problems of food shortages in cities. Rabbits were bred even in city schools.
Dimensions: 25 x 35.25 in.
Condition: Good condition, with a fold in the center.
