Original antique travel poster - Chemins de Fer de l'Est Excursions en Alsace billets a prix reduits / Eastern Railways Excursions in Alsace reduced tickets - featuring scenic artwork depicting a young lady in traditional dress sitting on rocks to the side of a path leading down a hill with birds flying over the trees and a view across the fields and valleys towards mountains on the horizon, the bold red text against the sky above and in stylised lettering on the margin below. Printed by Alsacienne (Anciennt. G. Fischbach) Strasbourg. Large size. Good condition, restored paper loss, restored tears, restored folds, browning, staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: France, designer: Greiner, size (cm): 113x78, year of printing: 1900s.
