A massive silver and metal belt - Yemen -1880-1920
Composed of 2 hollow geometric links decorated with filigree and granulation on the sides and 11 rows of approx 30 links in the middle, some decorated with convexed rhombus plaques and the others decorated with granulation in a lozenge shape. The links are arranged in repeating rhombus geometric patterns. The lower row is followed by strands, each composed of 3 round links, indicating that an original addition to the piece was later removed.
