Torah Book w/ Impressive Silver Case, with torah finials
Torah Book, Torah Book case adorned with silver decorations, and a pair of European pomegranates.
1. Impressive case made of wood coated in massive plaques and additional silver decorations to its entire length, depicting numerous traditional Jewish motifs, among them The Tablets of Stone and the Holy Temple Menorah. To the top of the case there is an impressive crown made of hand hammered silver.
2. Pair of large fancy pomegranates for a silver Torah Book. Decorated with professional hand engraving of plantation and flowers. Apparently Europe, end of 19th century.
Pomegranate weight: 360 and 392 grams.
Four bells are missing from one of the pomegranates.
3. Torah Book with a Sephardi scribe's handwriting.
The book went through computer analysis in the program "Diyukei Sofrim" (Author Precision) and found not Kosher, the purchase can receive the test results and the list of required repairs.
