Special! Sculpture in the figure of Varan, a masterpiece by German maker Gebruder Friedländer of Berlin, circa 1900.
On Varan's back a brush is installed, apparently served as a special decorative item.
Sculpture made of cast silver (marked 800 and maker's mark), high precision and attention to the smallest of details.
Excellent condition.
