Antique Family Cloth for Covering an Altar, Chinese, Qing
Antique family cloth for covering an altar, Qing Dynasty. Depicting a dragon in its center, 2 phoenix birds on the left and on the right, and 2 lions on its bottom.
Above there are 5 vases or dishes, depicting longevity. A central fabric made of embroidered silk, with a gold and silver thread over a red silk background. The borders are embroidered with the same silk and silver thread over a creme background.
Wear and distorted color, in accordance with its age.
Net size: 88X100 cm.
