(1897-1945) Nazi Minister of Propaganda with Hitler from the earliest days, a master of manipulation of the masses who took his life and those of his family members in the last days of the war. GOEBBELS' SIGNED ESSAYS ON THE NSDAP, GIFTED TO ADOLF HITLER Fine association signed book, Goebbels' 'Wetterleuchten ('Lightning Flashes'), Essays From the Battlefront', a collection of Goebbels' works during the rise of the Nazi Party from 1928 to 1933, a special 1938 Christmas edition (Munich: Franz Eher Verlag), 1939. 392pp. 8vo., in red cloth with gold titles, worn along spine and at ends, a light blue stain to spine, contents fine. Goebbels has signed the special front Christmas presentation page, and Adolf Hitler's genuine engraved, thread-bearing bookplate has been applied to the front paste down. From a 40+ year collection, new to the market. A great association piece!
