Louis Nicolas Davout (Annoux, May 10, 1770 - Paris, June 1, 1823) Duke of Auerstädt and Prince of Eckmühl, was one of Napoleon Bonaparte's most prominent high-ranking French military officers and Minister of War of France.
It is an original work signed by the French medallist Louis-Michel Petit (Paris 1791-1844).
