VANITAS STILL LIFE
Vanitas Still Life: This contemporary still life painting makes quite a statement of color and style. It relates to the current fascination with skull imagery in tattoos and youth-culture illustration/decoration. Painted around 2010, it is acrylic on a primed Masonite panel. The artist is unknown (quite literally, he appears to prefer to remain anonymous) but his painting style is direct full of energy.
