Antique B.&.O. R.R. Brass Padlock and Stamped Key Set - This set includes a heart-shaped railroad switch padlock and a matching barrel key, both crafted from cast brass. The padlock features a heavy rounded shackle and a pivoting circular dust cover over the keyway, which is shown shifted to the side with the key inserted. The face of the lock is secured by five visible rivets. Centered on the front is a raised rectangular stamped area containing the characters B.&.O. on the top line and R.R. on the bottom line, designating it for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The accompanying brass barrel key has a circular bow stamped with the characters B.&.Q.
