Three Antique American Floor Train Cars - This lot features three floor-rolling toy train cars of American manufacture, attributed to makers such as Harris Toy Company or Hubley Manufacturing Co. The collection includes two passenger coaches and one open gondola car. Each passenger coach is designed with a clerestory roof and open-end platforms with integrated steps. The cars are constructed of cast iron with fixed axles and cast wheels. Traces of original gold and red paint are visible on the textured surfaces. A small rectangular fabric or tape label with the handwritten name R. Meads in blue ink is affixed to the underside of the gondola car. There are no visible manufacturer marks on the castings.
