Antique Hunter Brand Lithographed Metal Cigar Tin - A vintage lithographed metal cigar tin produced for the Hunter brand. This pocket-sized tin features a flattened oval cross-section. The front panel is decorated with a multi-color lithograph depicting a hunter in traditional equestrian attire, including a red hunting coat and black riding cap, jumping a dark brown horse over a wooden rail fence. Above the scene, the brand name HUNTER is printed in a marquee-style font with decorative dot patterns inside the letters. The reverse side is primarily dedicated to functional text and legal notices. Centered on the back is the phrase HANDY PACKAGE SIZE in black block lettering. An oval border contains text stating the cigars were manufactured to retail at not more than five cents each. A rectangular border below provides factory information, stating FACTORY NO. 57, 11TH DISTRICT, STATE OF OHIO, along with a legal notice regarding the reuse of the container and tax stamps.
