19th Century Inuit Forged Harpoon Tip - The 19th Century Inuit forged harpoon tip measures 4 1/8” ( 10.47 ) long by 1 1/8” ( 2.85 ) at the widest point. The narrow point would have fit into a wooden harpoon shaft and the intricately woven tether which is broken off is 15 1/2” ( 39.37 cm ) long by 1/2” ( 1.27 cm ) wide. A rare and unique tribal bit of weaponry.
