Rare Early Sioux Quilled Wood Pipe Stem - A 1800's Sioux Indian quilled pipe stem. All original with very nice tight quilling. Quilling is 98 percent, also retaining original silk ribbon 21” long. Excellent original condition and patina. Has partial broken nib where inserts into pipe bowl. A patch of pine tar fill where there was a burn out at bowl end which was common in early Indian stems.
