17th Century Hewing Axe - A 17th century hewing axe with decorative stamping on upper body. Still deep and very visible stamping. The surface has moderate oxidation throughout, however the axe is in stable and very solid condition. Brought to the upper midwest by early Norwegian settlers. Measures 9 inches H x 6 inches W.
