Civil War Identified Naval Sword - Rare Identified Civil War Naval Sword. Made boy Hortsman Philadelphia and so marked. Etched blades with Anchor, shield, eagle, etc. Name on blade appears to be [ G. M. Von Schreader ]. Brass wrist Gard with cut out USN, shark skin grip, raised eagle on pommel. Nice patina to the brass. Etched blade has slight silver loss on one side. No scabbard. 35 inches long.
