First Half 19th Century Hinged Lid Tole Encroachments Box - An early tin or tole hinged lid box. Unusual shaped box with original hinged lid and brass knob. Traces of old tole painting. Box is 5 1/2 long by 4 1/4 tall by 3 inches deep. Might have been for carrying hunting ensoulments. Box is in excellent condition.
