Rare T.J. Albright (St Louis) Percussion Shotgun - Double barrel, Damascus patterned barrel. Marked on top ALBRIGHT ST LOUIS/FINE TWIST. John Thomas Albright (1808-1890), a Pennsylvania native worked as a gunsmith in Stroudsburg from approx. 1835-40. He moved to St. Louis opened a gun making and retailing establishment in 1842. This gun dates to approx. 1842-1848.
