Rare NY Civil War Presentation Sword & Scabbard - JJ Sherwood - A Civil War sword presented to Captain J. J. Sherwood of the 93rd New York. Captain Sherwood served the entire war and was wounded in the Wilderness in 1864.The sword retains ruby red stones in the eagles eyes on the guard, and the mounts are beautifully engraved. It has survived in very good condition.
