Large 3 Gallon Decorated NY Ovoid Jug (Israel Seymour / Troy) - An excellent example of an early NY big olÕ ovoid jug! 3 gallon with the impresses mark of ÒI. SEYMOUR/TROYÓ, the mark of Israel Seymour who worked in Troy with this stamp from 1837-1852. The jug features a nice cobalt floral motif. It has survived in good overall condition with some chipping to rim, and a stone pop to the right side body. A really nice example.
