18th C Chip Carved Box - Measures approx 6.5 inches wide x 4 inches tall. Circa 1780-1800, fully carved. Likely continental in origins. A fine example of an early chip carved box. Retains its original painted surface. Leather hinges, with one hinge missing its pin.
