Sioux Beaded & Quilled Tobacco Bag - Circa 1890-1900, with bar beading throughout. Beaded and decorated on both sides with yellow ochred fringe. A pure example of a 19th century piece of Native American artistry and material culture. A small tear to top where the bag hangs, and some quill loss as pictured. Measuring an astounding 3 feet+ in length x approx 9 inches wide were the beading and quillwork meets.
