In the copy before us, another title page is illustrated before the general title page, an illustration of Moshe and Aaron, David and Shlomo at the entrance of the Beit Midrash. This cover is considered one of the five books with the most beautiful covers in the history of Hebrew printing, and the most beautiful cover in Amsterdam printing.

בעותק שלפנינו שער נוסף מאויר לפני השער הכללי, איור משה ואהרן, דוד ושלמה בפתח בית מדרש. שער זה נחשב לאחד מחמשת הספרים בעלי השערים הנאים ביותר בתולדות הדפוס העברי, והשער הנאה ביותר בדפוסי אמשטרדם.

Good condition. Nice original wooden binding, time defects in the binding. Rupture at the bottom of the spine. Slight time stains. Corrugations in the pages.
