Levanon, Vienna 1839 - a long and special handwritten poem from the time of the printing period about the history of the Jewish people in exile and their dedication to the Torah and mitzvot. A one-of-a-kind item! Levanon. Includes several works By Rabbi Naftali Hertz Wiesel. First edition, Vienna 1839. On the pages of the forzatz at the beginning of the book is a long poem of 13 stanzas (spread over three columns), written in rhyme, in the handwriting of a poet who was not identitfied. The content of the poem: a description of the history of the Jewish people, when they were in the land of Israel and when they went into exile, how they always kept faith in the Torah and held unto it with devotion. After the 13 stanzas of the song, there is a concluding section, under the title 'Peace', in which there is a prayer to God that he will lead ”this holy congregation”, and his eyes will be ”upon this city”. The author adds a blessing:  ”אנשים, שבטיכם וכל קהלכם, טפכם נשיכם, וכל אשר לכם, ברכת ד' עליכם...”. Signature of ownership on the title page of the book. לבנון, וינה תקצ”ט - שיר ארוך ומיוחד בכתב יד מתקופת ההדפסה על תולדות עם ישראל בגלות ומסירותו לתורה ולמצוות. פריט מיוחד במינו! לבנון. כולל מספר חיבורים. מאת הרב נפתלי הרץ ויזל. מהדורה ראשונה, וינה תקצ”ט (1839). בדפי הפורזץ בתחילת הספר שיר ארוך בן 13 בתים (מתפרש על שלושה עמודים), כתוב בחרוזים, בכתב יד של משורר שזהותו אינה ידועה לנו. תוכן השיר: תיאור תולדות ע ם ישראל, בהיותו על ארצו ובצאתו לגלות, איך תמיד שמר אמונים לתורה והחזיק בה במסירות. אחרי 13 בתי השיר מופיע קטע חותם, תחת הכותרת 'שלום', ובו תפילה לה' שינהיג את ”העדה הקדושה עם ה' אלה”, ועיניו יהיו ”על העיר הזאת”. ומוסיף המחבר ברכה: ”אנשים, שבטיכם וכל קהלכם, טפכם נשיכם, וכל אשר לכם, ברכת ד' עליכם...”. חתימת בעלות בשער הספר.
