Full set of Sefer ha'Zohar of the Admor the holy Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel from Monstritz. Full set in three volumes with his signature: ”יהושע-העשיל בהרה”ק זצ”ל ראבינאוויטש - מאניסטערישטשע פלך קיעב”. Livorno edition 1888. The Admor Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil of Monstritz (1860-1938), grandson of Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Shapira of Salvita, great grandson of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz, grandson of Rabbi Meshulam Zusia Heshel of Apta, and the great great grandson of Rabbi Gedaliah from Linitz, author of Teshuot Chen. Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel was born in 1860 to his father, the Rebbe of Linitz, Rabbi Yitzchak Yoel Rabinowitz of Kentkozba. After the death of his father in 1885, Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel was ordained to the leadership, and the ordainers were Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak of Makarov and Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmestrivka. In 1886 he began to serve as Rebbe, after about 40 cities and towns had invited him to be their Maggid as a sign of accepting Hassidic authority that was customary in the Hassidic dynasties in Ukraine. Like the custom of many of the Ukrainian Tzadikim  he used to travel frequently to the cities under his influence, during these travels he would attend to the affairs and issues of the local community and decide in public business. He suffered many hardships - from serious illnesses as well as harassment from the communist regime - in the Soviet Union, therefore in 1924 he emigrated to the United States, where he settled in Brownsville, New York, and became one of the most prominent and famous Rebbe's in the United States. He later joined the founders of the Admors' Association and became president of the association. The Rebbe of Monstritz has authored many books, including: ”Divrei Yehoshua” (on the Torah), ”Torat Avot” (on Tractate Avot), ”Torat Yehoshua” (on the Passover Haggadah), ”Nachlat Yehoshua” (on the festivals), ”Yalkut Yehoshua” '(On the Legends of the Shas), ”Erkei Yehoshua” (sermons). The Rebbe became famous for his special style among the Rebbe's of Ukraine: he was well versed in Kabbalah, already from his youth. In a letter he wrote in 1908, he explained his holy way: ”ואנא עבידנא לתורת החסידות דלא תשתכח מישראל, בהלבישי רעיונות החסידות בלבושים ומליצות מחקרים הגיוניים”. Some of his holy ways (from the pamphlet Pirchei Shoshanim, printed in the book Erkei Yehoshua): • ”He used to finish each week the Midrash Rabbah and the holy Zohar of the Torah portion of the week.” • ”For a long time, our Rebbe used to study two chapters of Mishnayot every day in order to complete all six orders of Mishnah every month.” • ”He was extremly devoted to immerssing himself in the Mikva on the eve of the seventh day of Pesach, for an act that happened. And a few years before his death on the seventh evening of Pesach, the family members asked him on the advice of the doctors not to go to the Mikva because of his weakness, and our Rebbe said that if he did not go to the Mikva it would be worse. And on the seventh evening of the last Passover of his life he did not ask to be taken to the baptismal font and died a few days later”. The Admor of Monstritz died on the 26th of Nisan 1938, may his merit protect us. A complete set of the five Chumashim in five parts bound in three volumes. First volume, [4] 424 pages. Few moth holes in the margins of the leaves with few channels, not noticeable, most of the leaves are completely clean. Time stains. Rebound with proper new covers. Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel from Monstritz's copy of The Zohar סט ספר הזוהר של האדמו”ר הרה”ק רבי יהושע העשיל ממונסטריץ זיע”א. סט שלם בשלשה כרכים חתומים בחותמתו ”יהושע-העשיל בהרה”ק זצ”ל ראבינאוויטש - מאניסטערישטשע פלך קיעב”. מהדורת ליוורנו הון ועשר - תרח”ם. האדמו”ר הרה”ק רבי יהושע העשיל ממונסטריץ (תר”כ-תרח”ץ), נכדו של הרה”ק רבי שמואל אברהם שפירא מסלוויטא; נינו של הרה”ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ; נכדו של הרה”ק רבי משולם זוסיא העשיל מאפטא, ובן נינו של הרה”ק רבי גדליה מליניץ בעל 'תשואות חן'. רבי יהושע העשיל נולד בשנת תר”כ (1860) לאביו האדמו”ר מליניץ, רבי יצחק יואל רבינוביץ מקנטקוזבה. לאחר פטירת אביו בשנת תרמ”ה הוסמך רבי יהושע העשיל להנהגה, והמסמכים היו הרה”ק רבי יעקב יצחק ממקארוב וכן הרה”ק רבי יוחנן מרחמסטריווקה. בשנת תרמ”ו החל לכהן כאדמו”ר, לאחר שכ-40 ערים ועיירות העניקו לו כתבי מגידות כסימן של קבלת מרות חסידית שהיה נהוג בשושלות החסידיות באוקראינה. כמנהגם של רבים מצדיקי אוקראינה, נהג לנסוע לביקורים תכופים בערים אלו הנתונות להשפעתו, ובמהלכם היה נדרש לענייני הקהילה המקומית ומכריע בעסקי ציבור. צרות רבות – של חולאים קשים כמו גם התנכלויות מהשלטון הקומוניסטי - עברו עליו בברית המועצות, ולכן בשנת תרפ”ד היגר לארצות הברית, שם התיישב בבראונזוויל שבניו יורק, והיה לאחד מהאדמו”רים הבולטים והמפורסמים ביותר בארה”ב. בהמשך הצטרף למייסדי אגודת האדמו”רים והיה לנשיא האגודה. האדמו”ר ממונסטריץ חיבר ספרים רבים ביניהם: ”דברי יהושע” (על התורה), ”תורת אבות” (על מסכת אבות) 'תורת יהושע' (על הגדה של פסח), 'נחלת יהושע' (על מועדים), 'ילקוט יהושע' (על אגדות הש”ס),
