Printed by Yitzchak ben Rabbi Aharon of Prostitz, Cracow, 5341 (1581). The Sefer Sha'arei Teshuvah has been accepted throughout all the Jewish communities as a holy book, ”and he who reads it will understand its holiness and Chasidut and his heart will hasten to repent, for its holy words enter the heart, ” and ”fortunate is the person who is privileged to diligently attend its doors day after day” (Shem HaGedolim by the Chida).
