Qianlong Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar - Rare 18th Century Qianlong Period [Qing dynasty] Chinese Hand Enameled Porcelain Ginger Jar - Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795) Chinese Hand Enameled Porcelain Lidded Ginger Jar | The ovoid melon shaped vessel features two painted pictorial figural panels on white base, each separated by two dark cobalt blue floral and other decorations on a white base. Designs are accented with gold gilt decorations | Jar has a Qianlong six-character seal reign mark in underglaze red on bottom | Approx. Size: 13” H x 9” W | In very good + antique condition. The reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795) marks a golden age of Chinese art. Qianlong was China’s foremost art collector and one of China’s most successful rulers and fourth and longest living emperor of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
