Volume I: Frontis portrait of Goldsmith, additional plate and title page have vertical fold; 296 pages; the back endpaper has a corner fold; Volume II: one additional wood-engraved plate, 308 pages; Volume III: 298 pages, last page has small page corner fold; Volume IV: 263 pages; Volume V: frontispiece is partially separated, 330 pages, two page corner folds, last page missing upper blank corner; Volume VI: 253 pages, three additional wood-engraved plates to The Vicar of Wakefield.
