Summers | Pencil signed and numbered 108/1000 | Published 1984 | The Cragfont Plantation is located in Castalian Springs, Sumner County, Tennessee, and was built by General James Winchester in 1798, and has since been a grand and prominent Tennessee landmark. Originally hunting grounds for local native American peoples, 33 year old James and his brother George arrived in Sumner County in 1785 and quickly established a fort on land awarded to the Winchesters for their service in the American Revolution.
