Rare & Monumental Antique Early 19th Century Presidential Mirror From White House - Extremely Rare & Monumental Antique Early 19th Century Presidential French Neoclassical Giltwood Mirror with Carved Eagle Crest. Acquired During the Administration of President Martin Van Buren (1837–1841) & is a Surviving Architectural Fixture That Was Once Installed within the Core Ceremonial Spaces of the White House. The Back Retains its Early 19th Century Wooden Backboard w/ Original Cross-Bracing. Illustrated & Discussed in The Magazine Antiques in January 1973 Pages 145 & 175.
