Volume of [4] Sefarim, Copies by the Salvation-Worker, the Admo"r, the Knesset Yechezkel of Dej. Stamps
"Thousands of Jews have experienced salvation through him, by way of his sacred prayers" (Kol Bochim)
Four Kabbalistic works, drush and practical segulahs, bound together in one beautiful binding, with separate title pages and pagination. Each one of the four title pages features the personal stamp of the salvation-worker, the Admo"r, the author of Knesset Yechezkel of Dej: "Yechezkel Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs." An incantation for ayin hara appears on the final leaf of the volume with a handwritten correction.
- Sefer Keter Torah surrounded by the Etz Chayim commentary ... and many good segulahs ... and a few remedies and segulahs, by Rabbi Yeshayah Cohen. Lublin, 1908. In the part that discusses Kabbalistic segulahs, there are an especially large number of usage marks along with remnants of medicaments apparently used to concoct the segulahs (refer to the Hebrew text for an example). 112 pp, 21 cm. Stamp: "Yechezkel Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs."
- Sefer Lev Chachamim-Ohr Olam - work on the Torah by Rabbi Binyamin Katzenelbogen. Bartfeld, 1910. Important approbations. The list of subscribers includes Rabbi Avremaleh Steiner, son of Rabbi Yeshayah of Kerestir. 66, [2] leaf. 21 cm. Stamp: "Yechezkel Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs."
- Sefer Even Shoham, drush by the maggid Rabbi Moshe of Minsk. Podgórze, 1899. Approbations by gedolei hador including the Admo"r Rabbi Shlomo of Bobov. 98 pp., 21 cm. Stamp: "Yechezkel Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs."
- Sefer Rinat Dodim. Elucidation on Shir HaShirim by Rabbi Eliyahu Ba'al Shem. And now I girded my loins like a hero to republish it, HaK' Dov Berish Lamm of Sanz-Chadash. Bartfeld, 1906. Approbation by Rabbi Yitzchak Yeshayah Halberstam, son of the Divrei Chayim of Sanz, who writes that he gave the sefer over for printing from a copy of the first printing that was in his possession. [3], 24, [1] leaf. 21 cm. Stamp: "Yechezkel Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs."
After the passing of the Knesset Yechezkel of Dej, he left the sefer to his son and successor, the Admo"r Rabbi Ya'akov Elimelech Panet, author of Zichron Ya'akov. His personal owner's stamp appears at the beginning: "Ya'akov Elimelech Panet, Av Beit Din of Dej and Environs." Likewise there are notations at the beginning of the volume of transfer of ownership between the two Chassidim who purchased the sefer after the rebbe's passing: "Ya'akov Buch" and "Ya'akov Tzvi Offman."
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for brief biographies of the Admo"r Rabbi Yechezkel Panet, av beit din of Dej, and his son, the Admo"r Rabbi Ya'akov Elimelech Panet.
Fine-very fine condition. Many usage marks across the length of the sefer. Original binding with adhesions in the spine.
