Personal Tehillim of Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Bloch, to whom the Chafetz Chaim would Send People to Receive Blessings
Sefer Tehillim [integrated with הוי"ה ואדנות]: personal Sefer Tehillim from which the Lithuanian Kabbalist, the wonder-worker Rabbi Shlomo Bloch, a disciple of the Chafetz Chaim, poured his heart out. The Chafetz Chaim [and later the Chazon Ish as well] would send people to him to receive blessings. The end paper features a stamp from the Kabbalist's estate: "From the library of Rabbi ... Shlomo Zalman ... Bloch."
Well-used Sefer Tehillim. Every leaf is filled with signs of the prayers and tears of the salvation worker Rabbi Shlomo Bloch; yet the leaves are fully complete, without tears or wear, and without worming perforations characteristic of antique books.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon and Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Bloch.
Tehillat Yesharim. Jerusalem, 1958.
