Personal Siddur of the Leader of the HIdden Tzaddikim, the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Woltoch
"I, the undersigned, took this sacred siddur for the members of my family, as we have a tradition that our sacred ancestor, the maggid of Zlotchov, prayed from a siddur like this. May it be His will that in his merit, I also have the privilege of praying from it and that my prayer be accepted willingly from Above ... Yosef Woltoch"
Kol Ya'akov Kabbalistic siddur - the Ariza"l's siddur. Kabbalistic-Chassidic siddur known as "Siddur Rebbe Koppel" which was customarily used by leading Admo"rim and Chassidic Kabbalists [refer to the Hebrew catalog text for an expanded discussion on the siddur]. Photocopy edition of the Slavuta edition. Israel, 1972. Personal copy that belonged to the leader of the group of hidden tzaddikim active in Israel in the previous century, the hidden tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Woltoch, direct paternal descendant of the maggid of Zlotchov.
The front endpaper bears a lofty notation in his hand, in which he details the uniqueness of the siddur, the lineage of his sacred ancestors, and the fact that the siddur was bought by him for personal use, along with a rare blessing unlike any other seen, for the receipt of the prayers recited from it: May it be His will that in his merit, I also have the privilege of praying from it and that my prayer be accepted willingly from Above ...
Siddur Kol Ya'akov is an especially thick siddur with about 700 pages including prayers for the entire year - weekdays and Shabbat; machzorim for the three pilgrimage festivals; machzorim for the high holidays; the Passover haggadah, intentions for shaking the lulav, intentions for the sukkah, intentions for the eve of Yom Kippur, and much, much, much more. As such, this is not only the personal siddur of the leading hidden Kabbalists, but also the machzorim for the three pilgrimage festivals, machzorim for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur and the Passover haggadah - of the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Woltoch.
Rabbi Yosef Woltoch used this very siddur to pour out his heart in his famed prayers that extended hour after hour, during his hitbodedut at graves of tzaddikim and sacred sites, hidden from human eyes, and from which he enacted salvations as did early tzaddikim. This very siddur was used by the hidden tzaddik weekdays and Shabbat, festivals and high holidays, Chanukah and Purim, and the entire year. Lofty prayers with the Ar"i's kavvanot are printed in full in this siddur.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the hidden tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Woltoch and a short discussion of Siddur Rebbe Koppel.
The siddur is fully complete. Several paginations [approximately 700 pages]. 23 cm. Light-colored, high quality paper. Colorful page cuts.
