Letter From the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib Rubin, Av Beit Din of Wilkomir. 1928
"My blessing from afar and near, that you merit happiness and wealth"
Emotional letter with blessings for wealth, handwritten by the gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib Rubin, av beit din of Wilkomir - one of the leading rabbis in Lithuania and the gaon of Ponovezh's father-in-law. Wolkomir, 1928.
The letter was sent to his friend, the gaon Rabbi Eliezer Silver, president of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the U.S. and Canada with heartfelt gratitude for his help marrying off his daughter. In his emotional letter, Rabbi Rubin writes, inter alia, "Thank you very much for the contribution, it helped me with the burden of debt accumulated by marrying off my daughter, because the necessities for marriage are many ..." At the end of the letter, Rabbi Rubin blesses Rabbi Silver with wealth.
