[4] Samples of Institutional and Personal Stamps from Bukharian Olim
Collection including [4] stamp-samples for various institutions and people among Bukharian immigrants. Israel, c. 1940s-50s.
When a person or an institution requested issuance of a stamp for themselves, the factory would prepare a sample-stamp to affirm the client's satisfaction, after which it would issue the stamp as requested.
The stamp's impression appears on the back of the samples.
[4] samples made of an unidentified solid leather-like material. Maximal dimensions: Approximately 5.5x5.5 cm.
Moderate-fine condition. Aging stains. Blemishes and lacks in the margins, far from the imprint. The ink stamp on the back of one sample is blurred.
