Second, expanded edition of the Mikraot Gedolot Tanach. The first edition was printed in Venice [1524-1526], a precise edition whose text is followed by all printed Tanach until today. It also designated the format for Mikraot Gedolot printed until today. About twenty years later it was reprinted in Venice by the same printer, Daniel Bomberg; a new, expanded edition. This edition is one of the most magnificent Mikraot Gedolot ever printed. The first title page שער בית ה' הקדמוני is decorated. Additional decorative title pages to Early Prophets, Later Prophets and Writings and one for the five megillot.
