Spice box. Silver. Germany, 19th century
Spice box for havdalah. Silver filigree. Stamped. Germany, 19th century. Height 25 cm. Diameter base 6 cm. Stamp and name of manufacturer on the base. Round Tower with a smooth foot. The housing is made with filigree decoration and it has a door with a handle to insert spices. On the 'roof ' is an ornamented flagpole with a circular plate separating the two parts. An attractive ball and flag are on the flagpole. Very good condition.
