About 88 cm. wide, 46 cm. tall. Embroidered on both the sides. One side bears the words השומר הצעיר מושבה ב fashioned out of blue cloth on a white background. The second side has a large Star of David, decorated with two branches in light blue, yellow and mustard.
The Shomer HaTzair movement attracted Jewish youth throughout Poland. They left their homes and moved to the "Moshava shel Shomrim" where they prepared themselves with physical activity and agricultural work for their immigration to Palestine. These moshavot were established throughout Poland in the years before the Holocaust.
Laces attached to the sides. Aging stains. Complete. Fine condition.
