Printed at the beginning of the book is Gere”m HaMa'alot for the Tehillim-reader by the Chid”a. Written at the top of each of the Psalms is the purpose that the saying of the particular Psalms is capable of. For example: ”To frighten a governor'; 'If a man hates his wife', 'For eye sickness'; 'To succeed on a mission' and so forth. Printed after the Psalms are special prayers for livelihood and health.  Printed at the end of the Book of Tehillim , is ' Shimush Tehillim ' - a special essay on practical Kabbalah, guiding how to use each of the Psalms to reorganize the systems of nature, such as: ”Write this Psalms on deer skin and anything you do will succeed” or ”Write it on china and throw it into the sea and it will calm down” etc. (The essay is referred to by Shu”t Harashb”a, part I, Siman 413, and some attribute it to Rav Hai Gaon).  200 leaves, 9.5 cm.  Fine-very fine condition: magnificent leather binding with flowery gilt impressions and an impression of a name in Hebrew and English: פרחה יוסף כליפה; MISS JOSEPH KHALIFFA.
