Chevra Kaddisha ledger for Grosswardein (aka Subcetate - a well-known town near Oradea) from 1929. Book printed in the official Romanian language with space for the addition of the names of the deceased and many details about them. Each of the deceased was designated a page index including a "declaration" by the leaders of the burial society with information about the deceased's life, his age, his place of residence, his marital status and more. Further details deal with the burial proceedings, the shrouds, the eulogies and more.
Printed at the top of the pages in the ledger in Hebrew: "Chevra Kaddisha G"Ch Grosswardein."
The ledger contains 148 death listings from 1929. With a name index (!)
