Rare. Woss iz Keren HaYishuv - Propaganda for Buying Land. Riga, 1922
Extraordinarily rare copy; not found in the National Library, and never seen at auction - to the best of our knowledge, this is the only copy in the world.
Propaganda booklet calling on Latvian Jews to donate to this new body, with the goal of Latvian Jewry purchasing 1000 dunams of land in the Land of Israel. The booklet also gently criticizes other Zionist bodies. It claims that a large part of the funds raised go to administrative maintenance, which is not the case for this new organization, which earmarks the entire donation for the purchase of lands. (This is apparently referring to the UIA, which was criticized at the time by Mizrachi and Agudat Yisrael.)
Agudat Yisrael's Keren HaYishuv HaMukeret was established in 1934, yet there was a previous attempt, in the early 1920s, to raise funds using the name Keren HaYishuv.
