Bibliographic and geographic notes about the journeys of Binyamin of Tulda by rabbi and bibliographer Eliakim Carmoly; with a geographic analysis by Joachim Lelewel.

Eliakim Carmoly (1802-1875) was a rabbi and bibliographer. He served as rabbi of the Jewish community in Brussels and specialized in bibliographic research of Hebrew manuscripts. He also served as a librarian in the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, where he was responsible for the Hebrew manuscripts section.

Joachim Lelewel (1785-1861) was a Polish-German geographer and bibliographer.
