Furth, 1773. Including the rare introductory leaves with a sharp criticism of Chassidut. Mif'al HaBibliographiah maintains that the author's preface was torn out of most of the copies by the Chassidim. In his preface, the author writes against the Chassidic sect that had begun to spread in those days. The preface was written in the month of Nissan 1773, and in it he cites from the book Zamir Aritzim V'Charvot Tzurim , which had been printed in 1772. He writes about ”those who spend most of their days as the holidays, sigh and groan in their prayers, make strange noises, and change not a few traditions.” He also writes about those who came to reside in his country (Germany) - referring to the brothers Rabbi Shmelke of Nikolsburg and Rabbi Pinchas author of Hafla'ah , disciples of the Maggid of Mezeritch who were appointed to be rabbis in Germany. Rabbi Steinhart wrote in the preface to his book that he was punished greatly with the passing of his children and grandchildren.
