Kur Matzref HaEmunot V'Mareh HaEmet - Dispute with Christians and Apostates. First Edition. Metz, 1847

Kur Matzref HaEmunot V'Mareh HaEmet "Lofty and awesome questions from lions' dens and from tigers' mountains that the Christians ask about us ..." Work about disputes with the Christian religion by Rabbi Yitzchak Lupis, from among the Aleppo sages of the 1600s. Ancient rabbinic owner's signature in Oriental script and the stamp 'Eliyahu Shlomo Chayun S"T' in Hebrew, Aramaic and French.

Important and foundational work on all the topics of dispute with the Christians, as the author was very involved in the matter and had much Christian and all apostatical literature at his disposal. The work was written in 1695 and printed for the first time in 1847. The eleventh section is dedicated to a dispute the author had with a Jewish apostate.
